At some point, you find yourself asking yourself where it is that all these people come from.
Once again, the St. Joseph's Catholic High School Coffee House treated a full house to a cavalcade of musical talent, cranking out one quality performance after another, and leaving those assembled decidedly impressed with the level of talent that walks the halls of this place.
What's more, after graduating several top performers this past year, the cupboard has seemingly been replenished, with several outstanding acts coming from students just entering into the school's performing arts community. This, of course, bodes well for the performing arts program as a whole, as it appears that there's a steady stream of emerging talent in the school to augment the impressive numbers of senior students who, through their own talent, provide the school with a very rich fabric that would be the envy of many.
Special thanks to people like Dave Rowat and Kevin McSheffrey, for taking the lead, and doing all the things that make evenings like this possible for the rest of us. And to all those who gave their time to throw the event together, and tear it apart afterwards.
And, of course, props to our performers, who through their courage and dedication, and through the love of what they do, provided the rest of us with a little slice of special.
